My decluttering and organising service

Hi, I’m Lizzie!

Decluttering and organising is something I’ve loved ever since I can remember! I provide a bespoke decluttering and organising service tailored to your personal needs in both the home and home office environment. As a qualified solicitor in family law, my background is in assisting divorcing and separating couples.  Therefore, I understand the importance of keeping matters confidential, listening to what you really want to achieve and providing effective solutions. I work at a pace which is right for you and my approach is focused on your overall goal.

The benefits of decluttering and organising

I set up Simplify Stuff because I believe that the value of  decluttering is not just creating physical space.  By clearing your physical space, you also clear your mind to make changes in your life which you have always wanted. This may be feeling calmer and more confident, a career change, weight loss or new relationships, for instance. You name it, decluttering and organising your home can help you achieve it! We all experience times when our space becomes far from what we want it to be. It can begin to impact us negatively. I can help if you:

  • work long hours and do not have the time, motivation or inclination to tackle areas of your home where things are building up;
  • often cannot find the things you need when you need them;
  • feel that you are running out of space or are overwhelmed by the space you live in;
  • are experiencing a change in your life whether due to job change, bereavement, divorce, birth of a child or other reasons;
  • are moving home, downsizing or preparing your property to sell and need to clear the clutter;
  • have paperwork building up and want systems in place to organise it; or
  • feel overwhelmed with the amount of things you have to do at home and/or at work.

I have the skills, knowledge and experience to help you achieve the results you want for your home. I am an accredited member of APDO (the national Association of Professional Declutterers and Organisers (UK)). As a professional organiser, I also hold Professional Indemnity & Liability Insurance and am registered with the ICO.

Team of Organisers

Although I only cover the London area, I have set up a website called Declutter on Demand which enables you to find and book an organiser based anywhere in the UK.  Even if I’m unable to help or you need an organiser with more specific expertise, for example, in photo organising, then it’s very likely that one of the organisers on the Declutter on Demand team will be able to assist.

Decluttering and organising services

All the organisers on the website are professional colleagues who I would personally recommend to my friends and family. This is because they are all brilliant at organising and lovely people to work with.

The aim of Declutter on Demand is to make it as easy as possible for you to find an organiser suited to your needs. You just need to type in your postcode, select which organising service you would like and your preferred date to see who can help. Then, you will be provided with a shortlist of suitable organisers who meet your requirements.  You can find out more about each organiser by viewing their profile pages and easily book a session with your chosen organiser.

You can choose to book either in home sessions or online Zoom sessions with organisers on the team. Which option you prefer depends on what you require help with and what would work best for you.

The team all offer slightly different services and cover different areas of the UK. However, one thing is for certain – we all love helping our clients to feel happier in their homes and pride ourselves on a professional decluttering and organising service.
